3 P's of Professionalism

Almost 10 years ago, I acquired the nickname Philip the 3rd which then got shortened to P3. Several years later, I came up with the 3 P's of professionalism which I call the P3 Rating System. I believe they are the 3 most essential traits for success.

1. Personality. One must be friendly, honest, collaborative, and easy to work with.

2. Punctuality. Whether it be arriving to work on time or delivering a project when agreed, one must always be respectful of other people's time.

3. Performance. Last but not least is the execution of the job itself. One must always strive to do the best work possible and constantly look for ways to improve.

I believe that if you lack any one of these, you will not be as successful as you could be.

Almost Drowning

Originally posted on FB on June 20, 2018 I was nine. The water was warm. The sky was clear.... Had it not been, I would be dead. Treading water off the coast of Guatemala, I closed my eyes to focus on swimming. It made sense at the time, but then I opened them and fought panic as I couldn't see the shore. Then I turned and saw that it was behind me. How long had I been out here? I lost track of time over an hour ago. The last time I saw my family, they were sitting on the beach, motionless. Had they not heard my cries for help? Did they think I was already dead? I certainly didn't see anyone trying to rescue me. I couldn't even see the palm trees unless I was raised up by a swell. The Joy of Being Single

If someone needed advise on relationships, I would not be the right person to talk to. I am 28 years old, I have never had a girlfriend, and have never had sex. I get nervous when I’m around pretty girls, and always feel like I’m somehow intruding when I do muster up the courage to approach someone. I am not an expert. What I do have some experience with is being single. When I was 18 I decided that I would wait to date anyone until I was 22. I was committed to being single for 4 years. I had this great plan to start dating at 22, be engaged by 24, and get married at 25. By then, I figured, I’d be mature enough to be married.
